Ronen, I am an Australian Lebanese and I am not interested in any of the politics behind these attacks.I am crying for the innocents being killed in Isreal and the innocents being killed in Lebanon. That is what we all forget, we only think about the blood of our own being splattered. I find this cartoon disturbing, the Isreali soldier is protecting the Isreali children (which I think is heroic) but is pointing his gun at the pram of a Palestinian baby. They are both children, no matter what colours they represent. We should all band together, the innocents of Isreal and Lebanon, and stop hiding behind the political leaders we are forced to represent. We are one in the eyes of God and freedom.... God bless your people and God help mine...

Its not the meaning of this cartoon. what it shows is the Israel fights to defend her children while the palestinians (and HA) use the childer (and all citizens) as their human shields.

I would like to know, is this war between Isreal and Hizbollah or between Isreal and Lebanon. Remember that lebanon is a divided country, many people want nothing to do with Hizbollah. What about them?

Israel is trying not to harm anyone who has nothing to do with HA. We have nothing against Lebanese people who are not terrorist supporters.

We know for sure that in the quater we have bomabarded in Beirut there where only building belonging to HA so thats not a problem. The problem is in southen Lebanon where there are some people who doesnt support HA. We have asked the people of southen Lebanon to move north for awhile since this area is the main area where HA is using to set his rocket launchers and since we dont want to harm civilians by mistake when trying to destroy HA and their launchers we need to make sure that no civilians are in the killing zone.

Remember that HA is firing at Israel from the outscarts of the villages and from inside the villages. they are using the civilians as their human shields and this is what we want to prevent.

Yes I know all this, but don't you realise that by attacking Lebanon as Isreal has done, Lebanon will become united in order to protect its people. People who would sympathise with your cause are now joining the fight, with Hizbollah, to save their lives and protect their country? I am not saying you are wrong or that we are right just that a better course of action could have been taken... I for one stand behind the UN but I am still crying, as you are, for the land of ancestors....I would like to say thanks Ronen for this innocent debate and if you are in Isreal I hope you and your family are safe.....

Thanks for the warm words and greetings. I am indeed in IL and so is my entire family, from Metula and Haifa in the north to Eilat in the south near the border with Jordan and Egypt. same greetings and whishes to you wherever you are.

I agree that people are starting to support HA but I cant see any other way to stop, once and for all, from HA to attack IL and make HA give back the soldiers they have abducted.
